25kg Ready to Burn Premium Kiln-Dried Logs

Proper dry hardwood. Ready to burn when it arrives.

Our premium kiln-dried hardwood logs are Woodsure Ready to Burn certified and dried well below the 20% moisture limit required by the scheme. Our logs typically leave the kiln at around 12–15% moisture, giving you dry, dependable firewood that's easy to light and produces strong, consistent heat.

Why does that matter? Wet wood wastes energy driving moisture out of the log before it can burn effectively. With properly kiln-dried hardwood, more of that energy is available as useful heat — with a cleaner, more efficient burn and considerably less smoke than wet or unseasoned timber.

Why choose our kiln-dried hardwood?

• Typically 12–15% moisture — well below the Ready to Burn limit
• Strong, dependable heat — hardwood provides a satisfying, sustained burn
• Easier to light — pair with dry kindling and a firelighter for a straightforward start
• Cleaner burning — properly dried wood produces less smoke than wet or unseasoned logs
• Ready to Burn certified — independently certified through the Woodsure scheme

Suitable for

• Wood-burning stoves and log burners
• Open fireplaces and inglenook fires
• Chimineas and outdoor fire pits
• Fire bowls and other suitable wood-burning appliances

Dry logs make a better fire

Moisture content makes a big difference to how firewood performs. Wet logs can be difficult to light, slow to establish and smoky while the fire works to evaporate the water held inside the timber.

Our kiln-dried hardwood is already properly dried before it reaches you. Add dry kindling, allow plenty of airflow and let the wood do what it's supposed to do.

No seasoning. No waiting. No standing there wondering why the log refuses to burn.
